if i recall right, he was the guy brought in to get a deal done. he's done that it seems. i don't know how he was incentivised upon arrival, but it's probably there in earlier announcements. nevertheless, particularly HIM buying after the deal but before the FIRB decision perhaps indicates he thinks it's got chances. i would certainly back his opinion against others i have read here. also, i guess the purchase indicates nothing else coming from sheffield in the meantime, given the rules around director's buying ahead of mkt sensitive announcements.
