There's this perception that if a director of a company sells shares it has to be a bad thing. Well .. not always so ! Perspective is important to keep in mind with anything to do with share trading and the market. Personally, I'm not the slightest bit worried about Paul's change in holding. He is a normal human being with bills, taxes etc just like the rest of us and is entitled to sell some of his shares should a personal situation arise. $53,000 is not alot of money either .. from my perspective anyway.

The market is not your friend, so always have your whit's about you and can't say enough for research and understanding what your involved in... the positive and negatives, outlooks and the curve balls world events will throw in. These are dangerous times at the moment and almost everywhere is a financial risk. Money in the bank is earning almost zero interest and I don't think we have hit the worst yet! So it's important to mitigate your risks as best you can and understand your stocks better and not allow others including myself to influence your decisions to buy or sell stocks.

Directors have till 2023 to exercise options so no rush. No indications yet if Paul will use this money to covert as many options with the available funds, but I probably would if the money wasn't required for other financial reasons.

I thought the announcement regarding Ken Williams is a big positive - shows the company is moving ahead with hiring talented people in key areas to progress their verticals and strengthen the company's over all direction and position. AXE is fortunate to be in a much better financial position than many other companies on the ASX... so there is the security of knowing a capital raise is not on the horizon anytime soon.

I do like the strategic repositioning of the company from Minerals explorer to Advanced Materials - because this is where the future lies. The areas Archer is tapping into are growing markets and some serious dollar lay if successfully tapped into. Still early days here but it was a risk changing from Exploration to Advance materials and they have overcome this transition quite successfully. Still developing 12cq and starting to progress more on the Advanced Bio Sensors now and I believe we will hear more later on the Reliable Energy, so alot happening with the right skills being hired to accelerate commercialization of their projects.

Here's hoping the light at the end of this Covid tunnel shines soon - who would have though this time last year the world would be in this predicament !
