I could be totally wrong here - and have been in the past many times.....
But seems today the above announcement may be the catalyst we were looking for. The tea leaves have floated up to the surface - (Disclosure - I've been drinking) - Strictly observational - not investment advice etc
So today saw CMM finish out with its lowest daily volume since late July..... at which point this whole shorting tirade began.....
Not long after the captain's call to arms dropped 
- the trading got thin......Reeaally thin......Lol
At the close we confirmed a break from the trend.
(I haven't kept a spreadsheet..., however, generally the bot/algo/shorters are careful to ensure that the daily volume vs # of trades sits just above that lovely > $500 min retail trade point.....
But.... today if you take the close volume divided by the # of trades you get an average of................
515 trades @ $133,791 equaling an average daily trade of $259.79.......
Seems a little manipulated to say the least 
Now - I'm no "ban short selling advocate/petitioner" because they wear risk like us - but I really get the sh!ts when trades like the above fly through day after day with no brokerage $. That's sh!t.
Wishing ASIC / Gov would policy in min buy $500 across the board - hit me with a light bulb if ya agree.....

I'm retail. Mum and dad style. Sitting just above my average buy in. Still will hold (as stated previously) till $1.30
Meanwhile the cryptosphere got giddy today as Bitcoin touched US$14k recently and has begun... (currently confirming) it's gold esque retrace (cyclical flipperoonies).............(Is this where the shorting proceeds have been going?.....) I have been exploring the sep/oct uptrend in crypto and the inverse downtrend in quality gold equities such as ours....
