Best be careful with making statements like that - yes there was Bornite at 973m depth, but extending the drill hole to 1400m only means that there was sufficient hydrothermal alteration/veining and possibly some sulphide mineralisation that was enough to justify keeping the drill hole going. If they had 420+m of Bornite or Chalcopyrite then that would definitely be material to the share price, and we would have had photos of many core trays full of Chalcopyrite/Bornite by now released to the market. Given the market hasn't seen that it best to temper the expectations a little.

All we can be sure of, is that the drill core from 973m onwards has been interesting enough for the geologists to keep the drill hole going or the original target has not been reached yet - whether its gravity or EM or both. No assays yet, so no confirmation of grades and being the first drill hole in this area no idea of the potential geometry of any mineralisation yet until a few more drill holes are put into it. Agree with your statements about terminating a drill hole if it looks like its failed.

As others have mentioned, once the assays are in its either straight into a trading halt or into a report and ASX announcement as soon as possible, and the time frames for this are hours and days if the assays are good.
