    Non-holders shouldn't worry, if it was bad news the price should go down , then they can choose to remain non-holders.
    If it was non-news it will do nothing and they can decide whether to become a holder or not.

    Perhaps what the non- holder's are worrying about is that they've been watching this stock for ages and hoping to buy it cheap, but it never gets there, and one day it rockets and leaves them thinking, I shoulda.....
