Sigh, I've posted this multiple times but here we go again:
The share price of CI1 spiked massively on that day because the popular "stock picks" newsletter service NextInvestors pumped CI1 to their hundreds of thousands of brainless sheep email subscribers who tried to jump on board the bandwagon and make easy money.
It underwent a big selloff immediately after for those trying to swing trade for profit and created a legion of bagholders who are still salty about the company/its shares/its owner/his favourite shirt colour til this very day.
