URW is another example where buying by Xavier Niel has gone a long way to support the SP.

Only negative consequence I can think of is say eg: BLD where SVM/SGH obtained (off-market) such a significant portion of the shares ~70% that they then could replace/control the board who could be argued are now not acting in the best interests of all holders but rather a single holder.

Whilst JB owns about ~30% and CKT owns about ~15%, they are not really related and CLB is a long way off this issue though...

I would much prefer directors buying on market then selling!
