66% of the respondents of a survey conducted by World Economic Forum & Sea (owner of e-commerce platform Shopee), have identified #digitalpayments as a key area for further digitalisation in the wake of Covid-19. The survey, polled nearly 86,000 people and 8,200 #MSME owners across #Indonesia, #Malaysia, the #Philippines, #Singapore, #Thailand & #Vietnam.

While there is a strong interest & awareness to pursue #digitalisation as next step in economic growth in the region, there seems to be a big gap in infrastructure & digital devices, as well lacking in skills required for #digitaladoption.
