A few of us have (including myself) have always defended the gifting of shares and options to AF on the basis that he can't convert these shares to money until the project takes off (at least not without crashing the SP). This set of transactions reveals that's not necessarily the case.
I have to say it troubles me slightly that he is effectively reducing his stake in the company a few weeks out from the release of maybe our most important quarterly ever.
