This is quite encouraging and clearly shows directors are confident to start to show how FDA clearance will be validated. Thinking back to my engineering maths that R^2 value is the correlation constant which is a value measured out of 1. The closer it is to 1, ie 0.97 or higher the data more closely matches that particular mathematical function/ equation. ie in this case bloody good! They do mention "At Rest" though for those high correlation values which is probably why in that leaked mobvoi code for the watch they have the little diagram of the person sitting perfectly still in a chair at rest. All starting to make perfect sense. Only risk here is if I was the FDA I would probably challenge CDX to say your approval is "conditional only if person is at rest". This could be overcome with clever "how to measure" guide and a few disclaimers though.
