You can DYOR on why companies do a share split. It's not totally uncommon, but in this case, it would increase liquidity by putting more shares in circulation, in combination with a new price position.I agree lowering the SP will give more eye balls, but it might entice people to buy at lower price levels, given we are prospecting company and thus speculative.
I must apologise to the chairman for my knee jerk comment. He can buy and sell shares whenever he likes, or is able to to do so. I guess the frustration stems from if you sell at market, moving the SP 8% when you want to sell a few shares is painful to watch, more liquidity & more SH needed IMO. HNY all.
