Western Lithium owned that clay mine in Neveda, they sent clay Lithium samples to a German Lab.
The company also had a brine mine in Argentina. They were working on the extraction of lithium for at least
10 years Western Lithium changes it name to Las Americas(LAC). Once there brine mine became a hot property
never heard a word about the clay results all was forgotten
I don"t know of any Lithium Clay mines anywhere in the world
Maybe Musk can try salt the Germans may have overlooked that process.
