CSL board buys up SPP parcels

CSL directors’ interest notices have dropped this morning, showing that six of the company’s board members bought 118 shares each as part of the biotech giant’s share purchase plan.

Alison Watkins, Brian McNamee, Bruce Brook, Carolyn Hewson, Megan Clark and Marie McDonald all acquired the shares at $253.57, with each board member’s parcel worth $29,921.26.

Here’s where their stakes sit after the most recent capital raise:

Alison Watkins - holds 1,118 shares via a superannuation vehicle and 243 rights

Brian McNamee - holds 162,077 ordinary shares as indirect holdings across including mutual trusts, as well as being held by custodians HSBC and Solium Nominees. McNamee also holds 569 rights.

Bruce Brook - holds 1,000 direct shares, 2,188 in a superannuation vehicle and 2,684 held by Solium Nominees, plus 240 rights.

Carolyn Hewson - holds 248 ordinary shares through the Zanadu Investment Trust, and 792 via Solium Nominees, plus 401 rights.

Megan Clark - holds 2.983 direct shares, plus 950 held by Solium Nominees and 160 rights.

CSL shares have rebounded strongly after the company’s half year results on Wednesday and are up 10.8 per cent for the week, closing at $277 on Thursday.
