I'd be very surprised if there was a TA in the pipeline (although may explain the 2 recent director purchases?). I think these days BGA is pretty large which limits potential buyers and the FIRB certainly won't allow a foreign ownership to occur, I often thought companies like Sanitarium could be a potential buyer though.
Shorts are still relatively high
Maybe people are selling down to buy into coal? I know my coal holdings have gone through the roof lately
