i did sell half my holdings on the news. still have a fair chunk , but i am becoming more risk adverse with DRO as the year drags on.
tax liability ? assuming directors are well into the green , sale of these shares will create a capital gain as at 1 July which can only be offset by previous capital losses.
so , if i thought there was good news coming I would borrow to pay liability and wait for uolift in share value to repay loan .
juat me , but that is what my sensible head says
