Platforms that over value their service will fail. in the end it's just a web page or app that exchanges pictures and words between two parties.
They should look to successful platforms like eBay, gumtree, Netflix, etc. Provide a low fee pay per service, or subscription, then increase fees once a brand and market share has been established.
A CEO on this kind of pay should know these fundamentals.
