May I ask why you believe the leak came from the advisers?
While the release today said that they have not received a bid or a binding offer, in my interpretation it also failed to dismiss the claim that they have at least been in discussions with potential bidders.
If NXL had not previously been engaged in any informal discussions from potential bidders, don't you think they would have said so in this most recent announcement? [it would be a supremely logical thing to do in my opinion].
So assuming that NXL had been engaging in at least informal discussions with potential bidders (my best guess, not fact), do you think it's appropriate for the CEO to be buying shares on the market?
