    I'm not sure how long you have been in the market.

    But a classic rebuttal to ASX speeding tickets regarding takeover speculation of targeted companies is:

    "discussions may lead or not lead to a transaction".

    On your logic, the CEO is allowed to buy shares if a takeover doesn't eventuate. Discussion, intention etc etc are much different from knowledge of an impending acquisition.

    If you feel a takeover is certain - it seems you are implying that - then the CEO shouldn't be buying shares with that knowledge.

    You'll need evidence to support that @Jausty1919 and today's ASX ann says otherwise.

    Rabbit holes sound like your thing so look forward to further replies.
