Kalm4h. The ATO will use market value, not the nominated value for assessing gains/losses by the seller. Too much room for tax evasion if you can transfer assets for tax purposes at heavily discounted to true market values.
Must admit I'm puzzled by the price and thought a typo was most logical explanation, but it hasn't been corrected - so I remain puzzled.
