I get the benefit of acquiring shares at $0.007 in the market rather than paying $0.008 via the rights issue. But it raises a pretty fundamental question - do you prefer giving money to the Company or giving money to the market? If there was a big difference in price then the argument to buy in the market would be stronger, but $0.001 per share is immaterial. My suggestion is - give your money to the Company because they can do something useful with it.
