Brian holds a blocking stake for any hostile takeover that does not itself represent value, so I do not see any takeover being accepted if it were to come based upon "normal premiums" usually applied against VWAP calcs, plus Brian has already spoken to "At Value" in context of any equity partners coming on board rather than "suppressed share prices"
In short, Brian is in the box seat to shield off any hostile / low ball takeover.
As to options, and whether they end up in the money, that's crystal balling, but I do find it strange if not counter intuitive to all the negative sentiment being posted of late, that the buy side on the AAUOB is the highest qty it has been for some time (maybe not in $$ cost terms but certainly in AAOUB options themselves), to me that's suspiciously illogical if we're all supposed to be in team Doom and Gloom.
I have a binary strategy with the options I hold, and it only involves myself and the company.
