IG is a lawyer - he used the word «intention » . Intentions can change all the time, and can’t be proven. Would be good to know the reason behind the selling. Family members ? Debt? Something more subtle? I can’t see him relinquishing control. He is heavily into gold .. Just saw his 2022 strategic investment in Canadian co exploring in Fiji (thunderstruck resources)
(PS: I don’t see Gandel money being employed just to trade. Rather, that it is used to acquire distressed assets where the sum of the parts is worth more than the whole. I believe IG plays the long game and is very « savvy ». .. And, of course, control is paramount. Just my view. .. I bought into ALK thinking it had checks and balances … but now.. the BOD does not seem to me to be very independent.. (if it ever was) ). Ha, ha ..Who ever thought our chairman was working for shareholders ?!
