The Lockyer prospect was identified back in 2015...In fact the four way fault closure of the Lockyer structure was known about in 2005 or earlier...its just no one had the guts to drill it...Lockyer was progressively upgraded and STX success with WE was what gave people the courage to drill it.

If you want to go back and have a look at some history...once upon a time...NWE held 100% of the permit...before they decided to farm out to EGO...who sat on it, only to be liquidated by MIN.

they did appallingly in terms of promoting the discovery and keeping NWE share price where it should really be.

the only reason i voted the shares for them was because I thought Iain would use the proceeds of the performance shares (low hurdles imo) to fund his 160 million option conversion and then use those votes together with at least half the remaining non min shareholders to ward off a predator....silly me.

What is your valuation for NWE?
At 22% interest and NWEs current market cap of $450M, it suggests a valuation of something near $2B for the whole discovery, given it is now NWEs primary asset.
I know there is exploration upside, but hard to value that…
Seems a very handy valuation when it is cash in the hand today and no risk to shareholders.

Just look at FAR and CVN, developing projects with unfriendly, uncommunicative bigger partners is not an easy path.
