I suppose the difference is that the Director purchased all his shares on market with money out of his own pocket whereas the CEO has earnt all his shares through remuneration and performance rights and so has not reached into his pocket as such.
I have no fears about the Director selling as the information he had at the time was publicly available information through the yearly statement of resources/reserves that is published around 30Sep each year and in the end he grabbed a good price for his shares and mightn't of even been thinking of when the mine might close.
I'm only thinking of when the mine might close as I'm trying to assess whether MGX represents a good investment at the current price or not as can be seen by the cashflow schedule to 30Jun26 that I posted some days ago - which should be the earliest it will close.
