I can't see why people are surprised about these performance options. Most juniors have management that do exactly the same thing. Whilst it may not be morally acceptable, it's laughable to think that retail investors are shocked when it comes to light. This practice is endemic across the entire junior space, no?
I've resigned to the fact that it'll happen regardless. If I can make some coin then so be it.
