Verner has learnt that if you drive the SP down low enough through inaction, shareholders will give you a truck load of shares for free if the SP rises off the bottom. Stranger than fiction.
Why would he stick his hand in his pocket?
Mediocrity pays. Large.
How does someone like Verner get a tax bill that 'forces' them to 'have' to sell shares at close to their peak, right before announcements that put the hand brake on the business for the short term?
Mysterious.
