Should we be concerned that our Managing Director has sold roughly a third of his shareholding for $14.85 per share (a total of $5.7m)?
Also of interest I note that it was an off market trade but presumably to a non-associated person given Geoff no longer has an interest in the disposed shares. Intriguingly the sale has occurred during a closed period but for which the board has given approval for the sale.
While it’s always a balance between a persons right to privacy and a truely informed market, it would have been good for increased disclosure of the reasons for the sale and why the board approved in a closed period.
