Thank you for posting but with all due respect @DTshares this post is one of the strangest I have read on HC pertaining to IMU.

The facts are the Chairman has offered a portion of his stock to a bank as security for a loan. He still holds the stock. If the shares increase in value he can I'm sure sell them at any time and close out the loan. It doesn't send any message to the market other than he can afford the prevailing interest rate on the loan, and he doesn't wish to sell his IMU shares at this point in time. Therefore one could conclude he thinks they (IMU) are going to increase in value. A deal could be struck Monday, this month or next, and he may not need the facility any more.

And realistically as with any margin loan facility the bank has no doubt done their due diligence and approved the stock at a specified loan to value ratio (LVR), therefore they are comfortable if not confident in the IMU's credentials. To assume they would run around shorting or lending the stock out for such a purpose (given it is security on a loan), whilst it may be in their charter, is not really sound banking practice given it is security for a facility.

If you read the announcement clearly Paul Hopper owns exactly the same amount of shares and options he held prior to the notification. He has and still holds close to if not the most shares in the company and IP he founded. Given his extensive business portfolio it is actually a credit to him for being able to hold on and manage his portfolio in such a manner that he can still hold so many shares in IMU, given the turmoil in world markets in late 2022, early 2023. I wonder how many IMU shareholders can say the same? From where I sit it is a huge vote of confidence in Imugene, their ongoing progress and future prospects.

TBH I have felt Paul Hopper could have been more actively involved in the IMU train, particularly when it comes to marketing and representing the stock publicly. However that said I do respect his obvious desire to allow the appointed CEO and Managing Director Leslie Chong to call the shots without treading on her toes and being what could at times be viewed as obstructionist.

In conclusion man can't live on bread alone. But by maintaining ownership of the loaf you have a good chance of continuing to feed the masses with loaves and fishes both now and into the future. I for one look forward to being present when after everyone has eaten from this extraordinary science, there is still some left over'
