Privately owned Linfox had a profitable FY.
So far from the limited information available, it doesn't seem LAU has been affected by any downturn in consumer spending. A further interest rate rise on Melbourne Cup Day is necessary given as the 'AFR' points out, much of our inflation problem is home-grown (large percentage wage and salary rises under the inept Federal Labor government for one), but it won't be helpful for mortgage holders who will further reduce their spending.
