Well I certainly hope it’s not a repeat of previous
MD. Scott Richards who was accumulating 30m
shares whilst being simultaneously handsomely
rewarded millions $$$ . This while SH paid up to
7x current price. Mayne share price has been $6.00
in past 12 months. This token investment by CEO
although appreciated is obviously only that.
A token and in some way a little insulting or condescending. The timing along with AGM date
announcement. There are many companies both
min Australia and overseas who are voting against
remuneration packages in recent times. Just 7-8
weeks ago SP was $4.88 .
Shawn may well be doing a great job . I am not yet
convinced . The chairman has shown me he lacks
transparency. He had better host this years AGM a
lot better than last year and be so obvious in his wanting
to avoid questions and be somewhere else. There
are many long term investors who are down a million
$ or more. They deserve answers to questions. Like
why $40m commission for selling MCS I do not like
shonky deals and secret kickbacks in any area of business. Particularly should it be in a company I
man invested in . The way the SP of Mayne has been
decimated to ridiculous lows for no apparent reason
then begin a possible turnaround with a timely early
announcement . Pure manipulation. Of this there is
little doubt . The SP must rise a terrible lot to satisfy
me . The only way this will happen is if we have a rise
min bottom line Net Profit. This along with growth. The
management must remain in step with SHs. Personally
I would rather wait and see some more evidence of
outlooks being achieved before committing my vote .
The days of board members and executives making small personal fortunes off Shareholders risk capital
mate now over. Proof is in the eating. Not how it looks.
