Saw some info that DB is the newer loader setup, and services the smaller miners and some big multinational owned (non BHP) mines, but two of the latter, two big ones have had some serious health and safety problems (fatalities?) requiring shutdown or winding back operations. Looking into this a bit.
I caught myself reading the HotCopper news about the bad rain event in January, but realised that this post is over a year old, referring to 23. Whoops...
The BOM charts show East Central Qld. has not had much in the way of cyclonic rain in the last 3 months, so January looks to be OK. I am willing to be proved wrong though. I'm not a local. What happens in the next month or two is open though.
