You could this say, but to put things into perspective, Amazon didn't make any profit for many years. There's a great interview of Jeff Bazos about this from 1999. (Not to suggest DRO is anything like Amazon, it's just the creative accounting, the idea being to invest into the future revenue, but, you probably already know this).
