The real measure of stupidity, instead of having conversation where you put forward a case of alternative directions by management in risky scenarios, you result to name calling and insults. I hope you don't reply to me or refer to me in the future. But I bet you will. You won't be able to help it. My taxes are high enough without paying capital gains on small trading profits. Not to mention all the paperwork. Who's got time for that when you have a day job. I'd rather play the long game and take a bigger profit that I hope plays out. Otherwise I can sell at a loss and claim it on tax. Besides, part of my ACTUAL job is seeing the bright side of things...
