And just to add a bit of context, the director who purchased ~$23k worth of AGY shares now holds a grand total of 250k shares. Remember that this is a bloke who is worth more than $10m and earns almost $900k per year. His investment today is absolute chicken-feed.
Excluding the Chairman (Mal Randall), the three non-executive directors on the board have purchased less than $75k worth of shares in total between them. And that includes the purchase today.
Clearly they aren't inspired to get behind the company, even with the expectation of imminent company-changing news.
