Sydney western airport is not completed yet. The government cannot demonstrate planes can land in that part of the country because no one has landed there before. It is completely impossible to know if a plane will ever land. I consider the project a complete failure because I haven't seen 100 operations a day occurring yet. After years of work and millions spent all what sydneysiders have is millions of cubic metres of earth moved, some partially paved strips of land and a few building structures that could or could not be used as an airport.
