ASX listing rules chapter 3 states that

“Once an entity is or becomes aware of any information concerning it that a reasonable person would expect to have a material effect on the price or value of the entity’s securities, the entity must immediately tell ASX that information”


Some here seem to be suggesting or implying that there is likely to be no such announcements made in the near future, because apparently a director, who bought 175k shares yesterday, would be creating a “bad look”, as supposedly he must somehow have known - prior to yesterday - that said news was about to be released, if it is indeed about to be released.

Ponder that for a while…..

Newsflash:
What are the key upcoming news items?
Afaik:
- EIA approval for 10ktpa expansion
- Plant filter rectification works complete / plant commencing continuous production
- Strategic partnership

If any of these were announced in the next 1/2/3/x/y/z weeks, would anyone here be totally surprised and assume that said director had specific insider knowledge of specifically when they would occur?   
Or would it be more likely that said director could see, like most of us, that things are coming to a head and significant milestones are in sight, and 13.5c is a bargain buy..?

There’s simply no need for “window dressing”  by directors when such key milestones are fast approaching.
This notion that if there was “actually” good progress on the plant, then directors would not (or could not) buy shares because they would look like they are leveraging insider knowledge, is imo just a FUD narrative that doesn’t stack up.

Dont forget, the market has already clearly been informed that “filtration rates and product throughput (are) improving consistently”, and that “test-work results are progressively advancing toward near-optimal operational parameters”.

Imo those maintaining a narrative that “progress is poor” are not paying attention, or, by their own admission iirc, just assume the company is lying.
