If you do not agree with the management of DRO please decamp. If you have any shares, which I doubt, sell them and invest somewhere else.
I still find it exquisitely ironic that have learned nothing about the purpose of executive stock options. Please read specvestor for a cogent description. The options are issued to incent the recipient to work to increase the stock price and hence the value of the award(s). Your rentier mentality makes it impossible for you to comprehend the concept of being paid for performance rather than attendance.
