Yep. you can be taxed on the capital gain of options even though they have not been exercised. might be a foreign concept to @Undaunted or perhaps he would prefer directors to remortgage their homes to cover their tax bills.
I don't know why people have such an issue with directors who've made them a shit tonne of money also cashing in. unless they're dumping 50% of their shares like what happened in uranium land the other week who f*ing cares.
