Hi that rumour has been kicking around for a number of years. At their last webinar omh stated they had no plans to sell their stake in the 51% jv. Although their smelters do not use the ore the marketing arm sell 51% of tshipi ore which turns a profit plus I see no advantage in becoming less diverse. Imo omh will continue to explore and improve the resource with byh which will increase their % of the jv .
the future imo doesn’t look good for byh unless they can raise some cash. They where offered 5m for their manganese share of the jv a few years back , maybe they can sell it to omh now for some cash plus maybe a small royalty. Just my opinion , I wrote my small investment off in this some time ago, most species don’t succeed , that’s how it is
