I used to think that too, but now in recent years I have changed my tune. Western countries, especially Canada and Australia are turning to total crap. Too much bureaucracy and red tape, as well as massive amounts of green tape with the strengthening of green groups in recent years. The SVL decision last week was the final nail in the coffin for Aussie projects imo. Absolutely unbelievable. We are going backwards in a big way. At least western countries, woke France and USA are getting kicked out of Africa, replaced by Russia and China, who don’t give two F’s about all the woke bs and political nonsense. They just want projects up and running as quickly as they can and getting the financial rewards which is what all investors should expect. Right now our western leaders are stealing from us imo.
