In the greater scheme of things, I’m not really into caring whether directors (publicly) or non-director management (quietly) buy shares in any company, or what they get paid. I only really care on what they deliver. Tom has delivered virtually nothing he said he would deliver, the exception being he drilled Shallow eventually despite his best efforts, then, as the late, great Murray Walker would have said, if he didn’t have bad luck, he would have no luck at all.
