“Less than a week after KPMG said it would close Mosaic’s historic Rivers brand, a fruitless sales process led to the decision to close 252 Noni B and Millers stores, including 11 in New Zealand, eliminating 933 jobs.In December, 80 fashion stores operating under the Katies brand were shut too. At the date of KPMG’s appointment, there were about 2800 employees across the Mosaic store network and corporate offices.Mosaic had sought to resolve its long-term financial issues by winding down some of its other well-known brands including Rockmans, Autograph and Crossroads.”
