The primary concern is whether the trade dispute will trigger a global economic recession. Should that happen, stock prices could drop even more significantly than during the COVID market crash, in my opinion.
Personally, I wonder how much of a percentage loss one can tolerate before deciding to withdraw investments and take a wait-and-see approach, observing market developments before re-entering with new positions.
