Given Mr Beard is a Chartered Accountant, one could assume he can interpret a Balance Sheet. Based on AN1's B/S (yeah, I do mean Balance Sheet), most investors who are "outsiders" would not get involved. Given Mr Beard is an "insider", that could be the only reason he would "invest" in this mob - I don't see him as a "speculator".
As Dunover intimated the other day....the only way this crowd can go is up - given its current value proposition.
