3 weeks ago Citi calls short on MIN and LTR……both are up like 80% off the bottom. I find brokers tend to make bad calls around peaks and troughs. Whether intentional to offload into volume at the peak or create volume to cover shorts at bottom, who knows? But we all know they have a reputation as they have been caught in such acts before. They will then try and make correct calls in between the peaks and troughs to average up their accuracy. Hope no one shorted based off Citi’s latest call…..they would be in margin call territory by this week.
