Inside buys are always a vote of confidence, despite the amount not being substantial.
The part about “free” and “gifted” shares is an interesting viewpoint.
The performance rights vest on achieving certain milestones, which are set by the Board. Not sure that is his fault. He will have a tax bill to pay at some stage as well.
The “slowness” of progress is more a reflection of:
1. The underlying commodity price;
2. Substitutes out of China;
3. General permitting hold ups.
