They have been doing it for some time. Pro‘s and Cons IMO. It’s Tax effective for them and dilutes value for retail holders. Not really fussed as there‘s more important stuff they need to address in the mean time. In saying that, it hasn‘t really paid off for them to date and it‘s Skin in the Game as you say.
