The chaps at Newcrest saying they don't 'expect' a significant recovery in the POG this year could be re-interpreted as they are 'not factoring in' a significant recovery of the POG. Two entirely different ways of looking at the same thing .

There is a lot of uncertainty in the world at present. Eg, Russia quietly supporting one part of Syria and America supporting another, back room talk of America returning to the gold standard and even the crash in the price of dairy.

The POG is up approx. 10% in the space of one month so if this isn't significant, I don't know what is.
