Those who say we ‘can’t live with it’ continue to refuse to ban hydrocarbons from their lives. Aren’t we in a ‘climate emergency’? It’s a funny kind of emergency where it doesn’t matter if you take any personal action about it. Total and utter hypocrisy.
The response of hydrocarbon companies has been universally appalling and woefully inadequate. Where has the aggressive counterattacks been? Unbelievably, many HC companies acquiesce on the ‘science’ but of course, if they really believed HCs were destroying the planet they’d be shutting down their operations completely.
The best form of defence is attack but no-one in HC world understands that. They have the money for an ongoing campaign but entirely lack the will.
