Worth remembering CEOs view shares whether heads, options or performances shares like income more than most retail investors do.
Sure they want to keep a portion for capital appreciation and wealth creation but also more than retail investors they want to realise paper wealth from time to time. Imagine 90%+ of your portfolio in 1 company.
Beach houses don’t buy themselves and hard working people need to justify the lifestyle from time to time. If he is working from home on the weekend I would rather he can see the sea. Valuable people should feel valued.
Good on him, he earned it. Provided he maintains skin and incentive this is not a bad omen.
